- Liability
Your pets are boarded at your own risk. While we never knowingly accept a pet with any condition, and always require pets to be vaccinated, we cannot always guarantee another pet’s health. You accept this risk. - Arrival
Upon arrival, dogs must be kept on a lead and kept under control. Cats must be in a secure carrier, which must be left with us for the duration of the cat’s stay. - Belongings
Bedding, toys and any other belongings brought in are left at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to these items. - Admission
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to pets who appear to us to be either unwell or aggressive.
- If your pet has a medical condition or aggressive personality, we must be notified at the time of booking.
- If we have been notified of such a condition or medication, we reserve the right to refuse admission.
- Vaccinations
All dogs must be fully vaccinated for distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, leptospirosis and kennel cough prior to arrival. All cats for cat flu, chlamydophilosis and feline leukaemia. Proof of vaccination for all pets must be shown on arrival. Please ensure that your pet’s vaccinations will not be due for renewal during their stay with us. Please ensure and confirm to us that all pets are up to date with worming and flea treatment. Failure to provide a vaccination certificate will prevent a pet from boarding. - Veterinary Treatment
In the event of accident, illness, infectious or contagious diseases while in our care if at our sole discretion we deem it necessary, we will attempt to use your own vets practice, if not the pet will be treated by our veterinary surgeon, who is Cross Green Vets, Otley. If veterinary treatment is required whilst your pet is in our care we will take all reasonable steps to contact you in order to obtain your authority to proceed. You will be required to pay for any corresponding treatment upon collection of your pet or direct to the veterinarian practice. - Care
During their period of boarding we shall exercise every possible care and attention for your pet, but we accept no responsibility for problems outside our control. - Aggressive behaviour
If a dog becomes aggressive during their stay with us, every attempt will be made to ensure its basic care and it will be confined to its kennel area. We reserve the right to require you to remove your pet at our discretion. In such circumstance, the owner may be contacted to make arrangements for the dog to be collected. - Failure to collect
Should your pet not be collected within 14 days of the agreed collection date, we reserve the right to re-home your pet unless we have been able to agree an alternative arrangement with you. You will be liable for every additional day stayed. - Payment on collection
All fees must be paid in full before collection of your pet. You are charged for the day of arrival and for each day thereafter. We do not charge for the day of departure if collected prior to 12 noon. If the stay is curtailed or not commenced the full price may still be payable at our sole discretion. - Collection times
Pets will not be accepted or returned outside our normal opening hours, which are:
Monday to Saturday 8am to 12 noon and 3pm to 6pm, Sunday 4pm to 6pm. - Contacting us
Please keep routine administration calls to our normal opening hours. - Cancellation
We reserve the right to charge for the whole period booked in the event of cancellation, non-attendance or late alterations.
